Jonathan Grant Bio

Jonathan is Head of the firm’s corporate department across Sussex, Surrey and London, and he maintains an active corporate practice across the South East. He is an experienced M&A lawyer, having advised on some of the biggest sale transactions in the region over recent years. Jonathan advises ambitious entrepreneurs and established businesses looking to build their business through acquisition. He enjoys helping clients to plan ahead, deal with succession, and achieve their optimum deal. This often begins several years before the final deal completes, allowing clients to feel far more in control of the deal process. Jonathan has been named Corporate Lawyer of the Year at the Insider South East Deal Maker Awards, while the Department has been named Corporate Law Firm of the Year four times in the last 10 years. In that period the firm also won Deal of the Year (transactions over £10m) for three years, and Private Equity Deal of the year for two years. Jonathan works primarily in our Gatwick office but also collaborates closely with colleagues in our other locations.
