Patrick Anding represents emerging and established technology and high-growth companies from formation to exit. He focuses on corporate and securities law, including corporate governance, venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions, public and private securities offerings and compensation matters. Patrick has advised numerous entrepreneurs from initial company formation to liquidity event. He has extensive experience representing technology companies in a wide range of sectors, including commerce, media distribution and content creation, machine learning, consumer products, data analytics and security, medical device, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, robotics, semiconductor, software and social media. In addition to Patrick's company-side work, he has represented venture capital investors, such as NEA, Kleiner Perkins, Anthem Ventures and Innovation Endeavors, in a number of venture investments. His practice also includes a focus on intellectual property, licensing, and commercial transactions, with an emphasis on the digital exploitation of media. Before attending law school, Patrick worked in the media and entertainment business as a producer and creative executive, producing a wide range of film, music and interactive media projects for a diverse range of companies and nonprofit organizations, among them DreamWorks, Disney, Mattel, the BBC, New Line, the J. Paul Getty Museum, The Guggenheim Museum and Palm Pictures.
