Michael Jon Brown represents emerging and public life science, technology, and other growth companies in a broad range of major business transactions, including private placements, public offerings, mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures and other strategic collaborations. He often serves as outside general counsel for his clients, as lead counsel for companies that do not have in-house legal teams and in support of in-house legal teams for companies that do. This has provided Mike with extensive experience counseling boards of directors and senior management teams on a broad array of legal and business matters, including mergers and acquisition, public and private financings, strategic transactions, corporate governance issues, litigation, government investigations and other matters critical to his clients. Mike’s clients span multiple fields, including companies in the biopharmaceutical, medical device, diagnostics, medical instrumentation, vaccine and research reagent spaces, agtech, hardware, software, transportation, and entities that fund such companies.
