Mark Fairbairn has a track record of leading, structuring and executing cross-border transactions for different stakeholders including creditors, debtors, insolvency appointment holders and "event driven" funds on restructurings, formal insolvencies and other special situation engagements. Mark has over 25 years' experience in Hong Kong acting throughout Asia for major financial institutions, hedge funds, private equity investors, insolvency practitioners, turnaround specialists, steering committees and public and private corporations on cross-border transactions as well as certain contentious engagements. Mark is at the forefront of this market having been involved with many of the leading restructuring deals in Asia including Lehman Brothers, Essar Steel, Videocon, Noble Group, Legend International, CERCG, Ambow Education, PT Apexindo, Arpeni Pratma, Titan Petrochemical, Blue Ocean, ASAT Holdings, Mobile-8, Davomas, Grande Holdings, Dalian Star, SK Global, Suntech Power Holdings and Fuji Foods.
