Milind Jha Bio

Milind Jha is the Partner at Dentons Link Legal (formerly Link Legal), New Delhi and is a part of the Management Committee. He has over 16 years of experience in his practice areas of M&A, Projects and Infrastructure, Capital Markets and General Corporate & Commercial. Milind’s cross training in different practice areas and a well-rounded understanding of the inter-play of issues and various laws makes him a valuable resource on any transaction. He is a member of the Bar Council of Andhra Pradesh. Milind heads the capital markets practice of the Firm and has been advising top tier and mid-segment investment banks and issuer companies on equity and debt capital markets issuances and complex takeovers in various sectors. Milind has extensively advised on capital raises for the infrastructure, pharmaceutical, hospitality, energy companies and retains a special focus on infrastructure, aviation and power sector companies. He has rich experience in practice areas of infrastructure and aviation sectors and has the unique distinction of advising most of the private airport operators in India. Milind’s aviation experience ranges from advising developers and downstream investors in airport related development and investment projects to advising airlines on their sale lease back transactions, takeovers, restructuring and other ancillary businesses. Milind is also a senior member of the Firm’s Mergers and Acquisition teams and has worked on and completed various marquee transactions in varied sectors. As a member of the Firm’s China desk, he regularly advises Chinese clients on various aspects of Indian laws, primarily in infrastructure and M&A practices.
