Aditya Bhardwaj Bio

Aditya Bhardwaj is a Partner in the Firm’s Projects, Finance & Infrastructure (PFI) practice, at the Firm’s Mumbai Office. He has over the years evolved from an Infrastructure, M&A and Finance lawyer, and developed proficiency in Competition law matters. Aditya has over 18 years of extensive experience in Infrastructure, M&As, Banking & Structured Finance, and also handles Competition Law matters at the Firm. He has represented and advised on mandates pertaining to Infrastructure (advisory, acquisitions, financing & investments), M&As, Competition laws (Transactional & Advisory) and has also handled disputes/litigations in the Infrastructure & Financing space. He has an expertise in advising on acquisitions & investments in the Infrastructure sector, financing structures, corporate & debt restructurings, regulatory compliances, structuring Financing & Equity/Investments contracts, and has extensively worked alongside Government Authorities, Financial Institutions, Corporates and Investors. He also advises clients on Competition law matters including cartels, abuse of dominance, combinations & merger control, gun-jumping, competition compliance, and has developed his skill analyzing the interplay between competition law principles and clients' business strategies towards forging effective representations for the clients. Prior to joining Dentons Link Legal, Aditya was working as the Vice President (Legal) with IDFC FIRST Bank for around 10 years, preceded by a stint of close to 4 years with IL&FS group and began his career with Singhania & Partners LLP. He is a member of the Bar Council of Delhi.
