Tim Baart joined the Corporate and M&A team of Deloitte Legal (previously Laga) as Partner in 2004. His main areas of activity are both national and cross border corporate law advisory. Tim offers assistance with transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, due diligences, private equity and venture capital transactions, start-ups, joint ventures and corporate restructuring including negotiations with investors. As trusted advisor, he provides legal services to various dynamic SMEs and large Belgian and inbound multinational companies in different sectors. Specifically as a Dutch native living in Belgium, he also advises a large number of Dutch companies active in Belgium. Tim is part of Deloitte Private, serving privately owned companies, and his major industry is TMT. He also serves as Deloitte Belgium's Sports Business leader.
