After 19 years with Loeb & Loeb LLP in Los Angeles, Kevin Garlitz has joined the firm bringing with him years of experience from business deals encompassing all areas of entertainment and new media. His expertise includes working with a wide and diverse range of individual and company clients, including actors/actresses, on-air personalities, producers, executive producers, writers, directors, professional athletes, models, influencers, financiers, production companies, distribution companies and marketing agencies to structure, negotiate and document transactions and guide clients in the development, production, financing, acquisition, distribution and exploitation of all forms of content, including feature films, scripted and unscripted TV programming, new media productions, documentaries, animation, live events and other special or original programming that is intended for distribution via all platforms. He also concentrates in celebrity/athlete endorsement and branded entertainment deals. His extensive experience practicing in a variety of areas within the industry gives Kevin a highly valued broad and encompassing perspective, and he works diligently to help clients achieve their goals. Kevin earned his J.D. from New York University School of Law where he served on the Moot Court Board. He received his B.A. in Economics and graduated Magna Cum Laude from UCLA. He started his career at Thacher Proffitt & Wood in New York City before relocating to Los Angeles and is a member of both the New York and California State Bars. In his down time, Kevin is passionate about international traveling, live music, theater and his dogs.
