Janusz Strankowski specializes in criminal procedures, in particular those related to white-collar crimes, and in civil procedures, especially where there is a cross-border aspect. He has years of experience in law firms, as well as in entities dealing with management and trade in real estate. He also has years of experience in conducting procedures related to the insurance sector, mainly in connection with preventing and counteracting practices breaching the interests of financial market entities. He has also co-operated with entities from the property development sector. He has experience in representing parties in procedures before public administrative bodies and specializes in procedures invalidating administrative decisions, as well as seeking compensatory claims against the State Treasury. Janusz Strankowski has also represented clients in various complex criminal and civil procedures, in particular concerning claims related to insurance business, family law and medical law. He has acted before common courts of law of all instances, the Supreme Court and administrative courts. He has authored press publications concerning administrative and business law. An advocate and graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Gdańsk, he passed his final advocate’s bar exam in 2009 and in 2010 was entered on the list of advocates maintained by the Pomeranian Advocates Council. He is currently working on his PhD thesis in criminal law, and combines legal practice with academic work in the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw.
