Jean-Baptiste Santelli’s practice focuses on banking and finance law and corporate law. He advises international groups, banks, investment funds, CIOs and governments on syndicated loans, structured finance, debt restructuring and mergers and acquisitions. In addition, Jean-Baptiste is the head of De Gaulle Fleurance EMEA Ltd, a company operating in Abu Dhabi (ADGM) under a legal advisory licence, in charge of the firm’s Africa and Middle East practice. In this capacity, he manages transactions involving Africa, the Gulf region and Europe on a daily basis in coordination with our group’s various experts (OHADA law, infrastructure, international arbitration, commercial law, etc.). He also has specific experience in Islamic finance. Jean-Baptiste is renowned for his creative and strategic approach to complex issues. He is a regular speaker at international conferences. He teaches banking and finance law at HEC Paris and Université Paris Dauphine.
