Sven Dumoulin practice focuses on corporate law, governance, advisory, and litigation. Sven was General Counsel and member of the Executive Committee of AkzoNobel NV from 2010 to 2018 where he was responsible for Legal, Intellectual Property, Compliance, and Legacy Management. Sven was with Unilever from 2003 to 2009 where he was Group Secretary of Unilever NV and Unilever PLC. Sven has extensive experience in handling a wide range of corporate, regulatory, litigation and compliance matters, in almost all major jurisdictions in Europe, the Americas, and Asia. He brings a client’s perspective and is able to combine legal and business strategic angles with a practical hands-on and results-driven approach. Sven is Professor of International Company Law at the Free University of Amsterdam
