Katharine Coffey, co-chair of the Real Estate and Environmental practice, is a dirt lawyer, with over ten years of experience representing developers and property owners in all aspects of commercial, industrial, and multi-family development and redevelopment, including land use and zoning; rezoning; acquisitions and dispositions; financing; financial incentives, such as long and short term tax exemptions and redevelopment area bonding; and leasing. This experience has afforded her hands-on knowledge of the many nuances that make development in New Jersey so challenging, including affordable housing litigation and compliance, Highlands compliance, liquor license transfers and real estate-related litigation. Kate also focuses on reciprocal easement agreements and condominium sponsorship and conversion, and she serves as outside general counsel to commercial and residential condominium associations.
