Neil Silver is a Member of Dawda, Mann, Mulcahy & Sadler, PLC, having joined the firm in 2018. Throughout his career, Neil has focused his practice on real estate law, environmental law, corporate law, and banking. Prior to entering private practice, Neil served as general counsel for Sterling Bank and subsequently as Vice President in the law department of NBD Bank where he was responsible for drafting loan documentation and the bank’s environmental policies and procedures. Neil represents clients in complex real estate, banking and commercial transactions, corporate/business formation, and contract negotiation and drafting. He currently acts as corporation counsel for several large and small businesses. In addition, he is counsel for several local and national financial institutions, as well as for certified development corporations, and is designated counsel for the Small Business Administration (SBA). Neil is highly regarded as one of the area’s leading experts in environmental law and has testified numerous times before the House and Senate subcommittees on environmental issues, in addition to having authored several current state and federal statutes.
