Bio

Dana Kreis Glencer is a Member with Dawda, Mann, Mulcahy & Sadler, PLC. She specializes in commercial real estate and business transactions. Dana has assisted clients in transactional real estate matters involving the negotiation and documentation of agreements for the purchase and sale of commercial real estate, the acquisition and disposition of property, the development of shopping centers, and leasing of commercial retail and office space. Dana’s practice also includes counseling clients regarding general business and corporate matters, such as business planning, entity formation, and asset purchases and sales. Additionally, Dana has prior litigation experience in a variety of residential real estate matters, including the representation of financial institutions and mortgage companies in contested mortgage foreclosures and eviction proceedings. Her prior experience also includes bankruptcy and commercial litigation, as well as the representation of creditors and debtors in Chapter 7, 11 and 13 bankruptcy proceedings. She has represented landlords, financial institutions, creditors, and debtors. She has also handled numerous collection matters on behalf of creditors and financial institutions in Michigan. Dana earned her J.D. from Michigan State University, College of Law, cum laude, in 1998, where she was a member of the Law Review and Note & Comment Editor. She earned her B.A. from Oakland University in 1995, majoring in Latin American Studies. Dana is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, Real Property Law Section, and the Oakland County Bar Association. She is admitted to practice in all courts in the State of Michigan and before the U.S. District Court in the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan.
