Patrick Barry Bio

Patrick Barry focuses on public and private mergers and acquisitions, private equity investment transactions, fund formation and debt and equity corporate finance. He also has significant expertise in corporate joint ventures and structured finance transactions. Patrick acts for leading private equity funds, hedge funds and asset managers, as well as for enterprises of all sizes – from startups to multinationals. Known for his precise and detail-oriented advice, Patrick is trusted by clients to be their “eyes and ears on market trends.” (Chambers Canada 2018). He regularly applies his wide-ranging experience and good judgment to some of the country’s most high-profile transactions. Patrick is a member of our Management Committee. Outside the firm, he provides pro bono services to small local organizations requiring legal services to help their communities.
