Managing Partner in Montréal, Philippe Johnson leads our Québec team – dedicated, as always, to embracing our clients’ high-stakes challenges and providing them with innovative, clear and efficient solutions. A banker before he became a lawyer, Philippe has spent almost two decades advising leading companies — Canadian, U.S. and international — on their most important Canadian investments. He has advised clients on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, private placements, financings, corporate reorganizations, joint ventures and other major projects. Cross-border and international deals are a significant area of focus. Philippe has been a member of our Management Committee since 2012. He is a director of Fondation Serge Marcil, which focuses on improving the well-being of children in Haiti and Africa, and also sits on the board of directors of the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal, which promotes the prosperity of the city and its businesses.
