David Manifould specialises in company/commercial law including M&A and corporate finance. He has extensive experience in a broad range of work including insolvency, finance, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, funds, collective investment schemes and reorganisations (with a particular specialisation and focus in real estate matters). He advises on all corporate aspects of property structures and investments. David has advised on the corporate and funding aspects of the King's Cross property development for one of the legacy landowners in the Project joint venture, and the Pinnacle tower development in the City of London. Additionally, he has advised on acquisitions and disposals of property SPVs, both UK and offshore, ranging in transaction size from £2m to £200m, including the recent corporate sale of the offshore vehicle owning the commercial property at 40 Gracechurch Street in the City of London to Cornerstone Real Estate Advisors a US based asset manager. David is a member of the Islamic Finance Group and has wide experience of a variety of Shari'ah compliant real estate structures. His work has included ijara and istisna arrangements, and a £30 million syndicated commodity murbahah funding of a real estate development.
