Amarta has over 13 years of experience in advising clients on Private Equity, Joint Ventures, Financing, Exits, Demergers, Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), and General Corporate Advisory. He has advised domestic and international clients on structuring investment route and agreements; negotiations for various private equity funds, venture capital investments and sovereign wealth funds; foreign strategic investments into existing Indian ventures and greenfield companies; business transfer agreements; foreign direct investment; investment routes; exit rights; foreign exchange control regulations and other regulatory aspects; foreign currency convertible bonds and acquisition of loan portfolios. During his career, Amarta has represented both buy side and sell side in private equity deals, as well as worked with some of India’s largest business houses on business reorganization and overseas investments.
