Robert is a business and intellectual property litigator and trial attorney. He represents clients in federal and state court cases and arbitration hearings throughout the United States. Robert serves as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives, employees, and independent creators looking for experienced, strategic, and effective legal solutions in complex business and litigation matters. He is a frequent lecturer and author on intellectual property, trade secrets, and media/art law. Robert’s 25-plus years of legal expertise covers a diverse area of business and intellectual property law, including patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets, partnership disputes, trade libel and defamation, and employment disputes, to name a few. Post law school, Robert clerked for the Hon. Howard Munson, US District Court, New York. Robert is a strong supporter of the visual arts and music, as well as a novice surfer and sculler. Prior to practicing law, he was a commercial fisherman in the Aleutian Islands, Alaska, and was an investigator with the New York State Commission on Judicial Conduct.
