Bio

Miguel Trias is an expert in all areas of corporate law, business agreements (franchise, distribution and manufacturing agreements) and real estate transactions. He participates in court and arbitration proceedings related to these areas. Before joining Cuatrecasas in 2005, where he was managing partner of the Barcelona office until 2018, he worked at several leading firms. He is secretary of the boards of directors of several companies. He is a professor of corporate law at ESADE Business & Law School, where he was dean of its law school from 1997 to 2001, and has written several books and articles published in legal journals on corporate law, corporate governance and corporate finance. He is a member of the board of directors of the Association of Economists and vice chair of the 22@ Network.
