Robert Clarke Bio

Robert Clarke has acted for financial sponsors and strategic investors in complex corporate and investment matters – both in Australia and internationally – for over 25 years. He is a member of a multi-disciplinary team that provides our sponsor clients – including private equity, venture capital, infrastructure, real estate, special situations and sovereign wealth and pension fund clients – with the full range of legal services. Robert's practice includes mergers, acquisitions, divestments and carve-outs, work-outs and restructuring, joint ventures and co-investment transactions, as well as strategic governance advice. He has particular experience acting for clients with exposure to highly-regulated sectors (such as infrastructure and transport, technology, water, energy and resources, gaming and wagering, health and aged care, defence and financial services) as well as the real estate and industrial sectors. Robert is Partner in Charge of the Melbourne office.
