Michael has been practicing business law for almost 20 years. He regularly advises both small and large businesses, investors and business owners in matters relating to starting a business, mergers and acquisitions, commercial financings, tax driven reorganizations, commercial real estate, regulatory compliance matters, shareholder agreements and succession and estate planning. Michael has been very fortunate to have worked with several of the province’s leading business lawyers during his early career which contributed immensely to his professional development. Michael is ranked nationally both by the Canadian Legal Lexpert® Directory and Best Lawyers® Canada in the areas of Banking and Finance Law, Corporate Law, Real Estate Law and Aboriginal Law. In 2014, he was named one of the Lexpert Rising Stars: Leading Lawyers Under 40 in Canada, Lexpert being a leading national legal publisher.
