Di Xiaofeng was awarded a Bachelor of Laws from Law School of Peking University majoring in International Law in 1988 and was awarded a Master of Laws from Law School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences majoring in International Economic Law in 1986. Di Xiaofeng worked in the Secretariat of China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (located in the Department of legal affairs of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade), and full-time engaged in foreign economic and trade arbitration from August 1986 to March 1988. From March 1988 to May 1992, he worked in the China Legal Affairs Center of Ministry of Justice and engaged in a full-time lawyer's work, from April 1989 to May 1992, he worked as the Director of the Economic Law Firm of this center. From January to July 1992, he practiced and worked in HongKong Livasiri &CO.. He joined in Commerce & Finance Law Offices as a founding partner in 1992.
