Charl Williams is a Director of our Corporate & Commercial practice. He advises on all aspects of South African corporate and commercial law including listings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, establishment of new businesses, property-related transactions, and broad-based black economic empowerment transactions. Charl's post qualification experience includes the acquisition of knowledge and expertise in dealing with various client matters in different sectors, including, Mergers and Acquisitions, The Companies Act, Private Equity, Insurance Law, Administrative and Public Law, Corporate Investigations, Black Economic Empowerment and Regulatory. Charl joined Hofmeyr (now Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr) as a Candidate Attorney in 1998. He was appointed as an Associate in 1999, and became a Director in 2005.
