Ron Levy is a Partner of the firm, with 20+ years of business and legal experience representing investors and companies on a broad range of M&A, Finance, Corporate Governance and Securities regulatory matters on domestic and cross border transactions as well as certain tax planning matters. Mr. Levy also has a unique background representing investment banks in connection with financings, FINRA arbitrations and FINRA/SEC regulatory compliance matters, as well as advising fund managers on fund formation, capital raising and ongoing 40 Act and certain tax compliance issues. While Mr. Levy has represented international clients in a wide array of industries, a significant amount of his experience has been in managing, structuring and completing transactions involving companies with international interests, energy and new energy companies, as well as technology transactions and intellectual property licensing. Mr. Levy regularly advises clients on transactions to or from the US, U.K., Israel and Asia and assists these companies on accessing capital, providing resources and bypassing obstacles to growth, while providing tax solutions to investors and companies alike. During Mr. Levy’s career he has represented institutional and individual clients from around the world, on hundreds of private finance, PIPE, and registered public offering transactions, as well as divestitures and going private transactions. Some of Mr. Levy’s representative transactions include a $250 Million UK based SPAC IPO in the metals industry, an $80 million buyout of manufacturing facilities in southern Europe, a US IPO and various financings and restructurings of an Australian based energy storage technology company, representation of a Japanese based AMEX listed company in connection with its US and UK divestitures and going private transaction, various financings and NASDAQ listings of Asia based companies, representation of a nano-technology company in connection with ongoing reporting and financing activities and, the tax restructuring and sale of a major mid-western US asphalt manufacturer and government contractor to a private equity fund. Mr. Levy is a former partner in the Corporate, Securities and Asia Business Practice groups of Hodgson Russ, LLP.
