Antonio assists Italian and foreign clients in corporate matters - M&A, particularly in the context of extraordinary transactions and issues relating to corporate law and business contracts, with a particular focus on transactions carried out by international private equity funds and strategic-industrial investors, including in relation to listed companies or companies operating in supervised or regulated sectors. Antonio has developed solid experience in the field of cross-border corporate M&A transactions, both inbound and outbound in the Italian market, which require integrated and multidisciplinary expertise, mainly assisting foreign clients or Italian groups with a multinational dimension. Antonio has gained specific experience in relation to investments made by international private equity funds. Since 2024, he has been Head of the “Sport” Practice Area, having advised numerous international clients on M&A transactions involving Italian and foreign football clubs. Antonio is recognized as a leading lawyer by the major international legal guides. Antonio Sascaro joined the Firm in 1999 and became a Partner in 2015.
