Fernando De Melo Gomes is a partner at Cescon Barrieu focusing on Infrastructure & Project Finance, Banking & Finance, Capital Markets, Electric Power and Mergers & Acquisitions. He represents several domestic and foreign clients, including sponsors and other investors, state and privately owned companies, banks, multilateral agencies and other financial institutions, insurance providers, operators and contractors in a wide array of transactions in various infrastructure sectors or non-regulated industries, such as project development and financing, mergers and acquisitions, public offering of debt securities in the local and international markets (especially infrastructure debentures and project bonds) and other structured finance transactions. In 2008 and 2009, Fernando worked as an international associate attorney at one of the most prestigious law firms of New York.
