Jeff Mikelberg Bio

Jeff Mikelberg is a partner in the Business Law Group at Cassels. Jeff has a broad corporate commercial practice, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, venture capital financings and corporate reorganizations. Jeff’s experience includes advising companies at all stages of growth and spans across various industries, including technology, media and entertainment, cannabis and specialized manufacturing. Jeff also regularly advises foreign companies regarding Canadian legal matters in connection with the acquisition and divestiture of, investment into or establishment of businesses in Canada. Jeff completed his J.D. at Western University and spent a semester studying abroad at Stockholm University’s Faculty of Law. Prior to attending law school, he obtained his B.A. from McGill University where he was on the Dean’s Honour Roll and graduated with Great Distinction. Prior to joining Cassels as an associate, Jeff articled with the firm.
