Gonzalo Grez Bio

Gonzalo is one of the partners leading our mining and natural resources practice area. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions, corporate, mining and project development. He has recognized experience in designing and structuring acquisition and merger strategies for mining companies and has a solid track record in structuring, negotiating and documenting all types of mining and joint venture agreements and transactions. Gonzalo joined our firm in 1999 and has been a partner since 2008. He is one of the partners in charge of the Mining and the Natural Resources area, with experience in Mining Law, Commercial Law, Mergers and Acquisitions, Project Development, Foreign Investment and Contracts. He has advised several domestic and foreign companies, providing corporate and mining advice in different processes of sale of companies and projects, acquisitions and mergers, private and public bids, cross-border transactions, financing, due diligence, preparatory agreements, negotiation and preparation of contracts, determination of corporate strategies and structures and regulatory aspects.
