Andrea Saffie Bio

Andrea has more than 15 years of professional experience, with broad expertise wide expertise in corporate law, corporate governance, foreign investment and mergers and acquisitions. Additionally, she advises several Chilean family-owned companies, especially in corporate governance matters. During her professional career, she has led important mergers and acquisitions transactions, advising both Chilean and foreing clients as sellers and buyers. Andrea joined the Firm in 2008 and has been a partner since 2020. She leads one of the firm’s Corporate and M&A teams, advising both domestic and international clients. Additionally, she has specialized in Corporate governance and foreign investment matters, dedicating part of her time to advise important Chilean family groups, especially in governance issues. Considering the structure of the Chilean market, in terms of mergers and acquisitions, she has been involved in leading transactions in different sectors and industries, including different types of services, food, pharmaceuticals, real estate, paper and forestry. Additionally, she acts as a director in several Chilean companies and is also a member of the Chilean Bar Association where she directs the Women Lawyers Commission and leads the firm’s Gender Equality Committee.
