Francisco Javier Illanes is our senior partner and joined our firm in 1987. Among his roles, he is the partner in charge of the Financial, Banking and Capital Markets Department, and is also responsible for the Technology, Privacy and Media areas. He has worked in the areas of finance, banking, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions and telecommunications. He has provided advice for several company acquisition operations, business reorganizations, disputes between shareholders and restructuring of businesses and creditor agreements. He has also been director of several corporations. He also participates in the firm’s Arbitration and Mediation area.
