Tom Carey is Managing Partner of Carey Olsen's Guernsey office and partner in the corporate and finance group. He specialises in private equity and capital markets transactions and advises clients on the structuring and establishment of closed-ended and open-ended collective investment schemes as well as their resulting downstream transactions and financings. He also advises on public and private mergers, acquisitions and schemes of arrangement predominantly in the financial services space. Tom acts for well known sponsors of private equity, large financial institutions and boutique and start up asset managers. He is also a director of a number of asset managers, private equity and venture capital funds.
