Adam Lawton Alpert is committed to helping his clients identify solutions to an array of complex business problems. Mr. Alpert’s diverse practice includes substantial out-of-court transactional matters, as well as all aspects of insolvency litigation and transactions. Mr. Alpert handles a myriad of complex business transactions, with particular emphasis on real estate acquisitions and sales, commercial leasing, and the acquisition and divestiture of distressed assets. Mr. Alpert is an authorized title agent for Old Republic National Title Insurance Company, First American Title Insurance Company, Fidelity National Title Group, and Title Resources Group. Mr. Alpert also regularly represents debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, and trustees in Chapter 11 reorganizations and Chapter 7 liquidations. He brings an invaluable perspective to bankruptcy and commercial litigation, as he uses his significant experience as a transactional attorney to help clients navigate the challenges of litigating and resolving business disputes. Mr. Alpert has been recognized for his bankruptcy and restructuring practice in Chambers USA, Best Lawyers in America, Florida Trend's Legal Elite, and Florida Super Lawyers. Throughout his career, Mr. Alpert has been actively involved in leadership roles at Bush Ross and in the community. Mr. Alpert served on the Firm’s executive committee and is past Chair of the firm’s Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights practice group. Mr. Alpert is also a former President and Chair of the Tampa Bay Bankruptcy Bar Association and served on its board of directors from 2007-2017. Mr. Alpert is also a Master in the Ferguson-White Inn of Court. Mr. Alpert was in the 2010 Class of Leadership Tampa and is a 2006 graduate of Tampa Connection.
