Alex Khalarian is a Partner in the firm’s Corporate group, focusing on mergers and acquisitions. As part of his M&A practice, Alex has represented buyers and sellers in complex transactional matters, including stock purchases, mergers and asset acquisitions/dispositions, with a concentration on the technology, health care/life sciences and industrial sectors. In addition, Alex has advised public and private clients on a wide range of corporate matters, including contract negotiation, corporate governance issues and SEC compliance/disclosure. Prior to joining Burns & Levinson in 2017, Alex practiced in the Boston offices of Foley Hoag LLP and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, where he gained extensive experience working on M&A transactions. Alex received his J.D. degree from the Boston University School of Law. While at Boston University, Alex served as the Developments Editor of the Annual Review of Banking and Financial Law (now the Review of Banking & Financial Law) and was a G. Joseph Tauro Scholar. Alex also received his B.S.B.A. degree from Northeastern University, having majored in Finance and Management Information Systems. Between college and law school, Alex worked as a consultant for a start-up company providing a CRM solution in the sales and marketing field. Alex is conversant in Armenian.
