and access,
Adam Rick is a Partner at Burke, Warren, MacKay & Serritella, P.C. Adam helps institutions prevent, defend, and resolve claims based on alleged malfeasance by their employees. In particular, Adam helps companies and religious entities respond both compassionately and economically to claims arising from past misconduct. For clients facing the prospect of multiple lawsuits arising from related events, Adam devises and implements alternative dispute resolution (ADR) processes. As an advocate, Adam seeks successful outcomes for his clients both in and out of court. He has won cases on motion, at trial, and on appeal, but he appreciates that the best outcomes often can be achieved through effective negotiation. To that end, he has achieved multiple no-liability, walk-away settlements that did not require any payments by his clients. Adam’s most recent courtroom successes have resulted in summary judgment and dismissal of negligent supervision claims. Adam graduated first in his class from University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law in 2009, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review. Also during law school, Adam was a regional finalist in the National Trial Competition.
