Rupert Weston trained with Burges Salmon and is a partner in the firm's corporate finance team. His practice covers all areas of corporate finance, focusing on mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures. He also advises on a full range of equity market transactions, as well as company law, regulatory issues and corporate governance. He works for a wide range of private and public companies on both UK and cross-border transactions. Rupert heads the firm's hotels team as well as being heavily involved in the transport team. Clients note he gives ‘very clear and pragmatic advice, and is always willing to roll his sleeves up to push the deal over the line’, and that ‘it’s great to have him in your corner when negotiating an M&A deal.’
