Ashley J. Fuhrmeister is a member of BrownWinick and serves as Chair of BrownWinick's Associate Committee. Ashley primarily practices in the areas of business and corporate law, corporate finance and securities law. She counsels clients in all phases and facets of their business operations, including: entity formation and corporate structure; mergers and acquisitions; equity financing transactions, including private placements; securities law compliance; debt financing transactions; shareholder and board of director matters; contract drafting and negotiations; and various other business transactions. Ashley has had the opportunity to advise clients in a diverse range of industries, including renewable fuels, technology/software, venture capital/investment banking, manufacturing and banking. Ashley graduated, with distinction, from Iowa State University in 2003, receiving a B.S. in Business Management. In 2006, Ashley received her J.D., with highest honors, from Drake University. While at Drake University, Ashley served as Associate Editor of The Drake Law Review. She was admitted to the Iowa bar in 2006 and is a member of the Order of the Coif. Ashley is a 2011 graduate of the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute. She is a member of the Polk County, Iowa State and American Bar Associations. Ashley has also been selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in the area of Business/Corporate.
