Jonathan Sterling is a member of Brown & Fortunato’s Corporate Group and is based out of the firm’s Dallas office. His general corporate transactional services include many types of business transactions in the energy, entertainment, financial services, logistics, real estate, and technology industries, with an emphasis on transactions in the healthcare industry. In addition to his corporate and transactional offerings, Jon has experience litigating commercial disputes. With a unique ability to identify risk, Jon serves as the principal advisor on numerous business matters that include contract review, corporate governance, corporate structuring, acquisitions, sales, equity buyouts, and dispute resolution planning. Jon is an active member of the Dallas Bar Association and the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers (DAYL). He received a B.B.A. in Finance, with a concentration in real estate, from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. He then attended the University of Oklahoma College of Law, where he graduated with honors. While in law school, Jon was a Second Century Scholarship recipient and a member of Phi Delta Phi honor society. Jon’s success has led to his selection by Thomson Reuters as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in the State of Texas for 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023, a distinction awarded to only 2.5% of eligible attorneys.
