Bio

Jared Barton is a member of the firm’s Litigation Group. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and admitted to practice before the Northern District of Texas and the District of Colorado. Jared primarily handles business and healthcare litigation, including the False Claims Act, throughout the country. He handles matters in state and federal courts and mediation/arbitration for clients. Practicing in various jurisdictions provides insight into different litigation styles, strategies, and trends across the nation, and allows clients to be served by familiar and knowledgeable counsel almost anywhere a dispute arises. Jared regularly assists clients with settlement negotiation and dispute resolution before business disputes devolve into litigation. Jared grew up in Dallas, Texas, and graduated in 2020 from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. Jared first-chaired a jury trial to a successful verdict, second-chaired a federal bench trial, and regularly participates in motion practice at the state and federal level. While in Law School, Jared gained valuable courtroom perspective spending one summer with the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office and another with the Honorable Russell F. Nelms, a United States Bankruptcy Judge in the Northern District of Texas.
