Brittany Hinton joined Brown & Fortunato as a member of the firm’s Labor and Employment Law Group. She is admitted to practice law in Texas and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas. Brittany represents clients in a wide range of employment litigation and agency matters, as well as in employment counseling. Brittany was raised in Amarillo, Texas and graduated from Amarillo High School in 2009. In 2013, she earned her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University with a major in Psychology and a minor in English Literature. At Texas A&M, Brittany was involved with a number of student service organizations and spent a great deal of time serving the Bryan-College Station community. Brittany was on the Dean’s List at Texas A&M numerous times, the President’s Honor List, and graduated cum laude. Brittany attended law school at Baylor University School of Law on scholarship for academic achievement. While in law school, Brittany was a semifinalist in the Dawson & Sodd Moot Court Competition and was the Naman, Howell, Smith & Lee client counseling competition champion. As part of her advocacy success, Brittany was inducted into the Baylor Barrister Society. Brittany graduated from Baylor in February 2016 with a General Civil Litigation Concentration. Brittany currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Amarillo Area Young Lawyers Association, and she serves as the president of the board. Brittany also serves on the Board of Directors for the Turn Center in Amarillo, the only non-profit in the Texas Panhandle providing physical, occupational, and speech therapy for children with special needs.
