Daniel Heyd Bio

Dan recently picked up a new hobby – trap shooting. He says it's fun and a good way to relieve stress, unlike golf which Dan finds to be rather stress inducing. Dan practices in the general business area representing closely-held businesses on a wide variety of issues including mergers and acquisitions, succession planning for management and ownership, contracting, and technology transfer and protection issues. He serves as a trusted legal advisor to manufacturers, high-tech companies, design professionals and health care practices. Dan also practices in the area of real estate and construction law, primarily assisting owners, developers, design professionals, contractors and subcontractors with deal formation strategies and contract negotiations. Dan has been selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America for his work in Corporate Law. Based on the grading and comments of his peers, Dan is recognized with an AV Rating, the highest rating given to lawyers by Martindale-Hubbell. When not practicing law Dan enjoys spending time with his family and friends, trap shooting, traveling and cheering on the Cincinnati Reds and Xavier University Basketball.
