John Breyer Jr. specializes in the representation of financial institutions, including savings and loan associations, savings banks, commercial banks and holding companies. A graduate of the Tulane University Law School and the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business, Mr. Breyer has over 20 years of experience and has represented numerous financial institutions located throughout the United States in various transactions. These transactions include chartering issues, charter conversions, formation of denovo institutions, holding company formations, security offerings and regulatory issues. Mr. Breyer also represents financial institutions in preparing periodic & annual federal securities reports and in executing mergers & acquisitions. Prior to entering private practice he was an Honors Program Attorney with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and a banking analyst with the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Mr. Breyer is a member of the District of Columbia Bar.
