Chris Peace Bio

Chris is a Partner in our corporate team. An experienced corporate lawyer, Chris handles matters such as acquisitions, disposals, venture capital investments, MBOs, MBIs, joint ventures, de-mergers and corporate restructurings. Chris has practised for over two decades and is particularly experienced in the retail pharmacy sector, having advised on more than 500 pharmacy transactions over a 20-year period. He is widely regarded as one of the leading lawyers in the sector throughout England and Wales. Chris acts for a variety of clients, ranging from individual investors and small partnerships to large private and public limited companies, including a major regional charity, a leading northern university and a number of major national banks. He's recognised as a Recommended Lawyer in The Legal 500 2025 for being “highly skilled” and someone who “always does an excellent job”. He has also been rated in Chambers & Partners as being “approachable, diligent and knowledgeable”, with “significant experience in the healthcare and retail industry sectors”, noted as “proactive and delivers a great service” and “always fights the client's corner”. His clients include PCT Healthcare Limited, Sigma Pharmaceuticals Plc, Delmergate Limited and the MSN & Lunts Pharmacy Group. Chris joined us in 2022 and is based in our Leeds office.
