Andrew Mahony is a Banking and Finance expert in our Corporate team. Andrew is an experienced corporate lawyer who specialises in banking and finance and private equity transactions. He handles issues such as mergers, acquisitions, disposals refinancing, investments, reorganisations, joint ventures, business planning, structuring, corporate governance, constitutional issues and shareholder agreements. He acts for lenders and borrowers, private equity investors, investee companies, private firms, SMEs and entrepreneurs. Andrew has a particular expertise in advising registered providers on their financing needs. Andrew has a strong track record in private equity transactions and has worked with many investers to ensure that they strategically invest in companies during various stages of development. He is a member of the Law Society. He is classed as a ‘Leading Individual’ and ‘Recommended Lawyer’ by The Legal 500 which notes that Andrew has a “great reputation” and is an “experienced” key contact within his field. Andrew’s clients include Hope Capital, 1Sharpe Capital LLC, NatWest Bank, Business Growth Fund, Mercia Fund Managers and Spark Impact. Andrew joined us in 1996 and is based in our Liverpool office.
