Christoph Suter Bio

Christoph Suter is a Partner in Bär & Karrer's tax team and heads the tax practice of Bär & Karrer's Geneva office. He advises corporate and private clients in complex national and international tax matters. He has particular experience in the asset management, banking and insurance industries where he advised on numerous transactions and has helped structuring multiple investment vehicles. In addition, he has expertise in the field of real estate taxation including the acquisition, sale or reorganization of real estate portfolios. Christoph Suter regularly holds presentations on topics related to his areas of practice. He sits on the taxation commission of the International Association of Lawyers (UIA) and is a member of the Ordre Romand des Experts Fiscaux (OREF) and the International Fiscal Association (IFA). He is also a teacher at the EXPERTSuisse training programme in preparation for the federal examinations to become a certified tax expert.
