J. Michael Wood is a member of the firm’s corporate department and focuses his practice on business transactions. Mr. Wood also has extensive civil litigation experience. Mr. Wood represents clients in a wide range of business transaction matters, including business formation, business acquisitions and sales, supply and distribution agreements, employment agreements, corporate governance, HIPAA compliance, and intellectual property matters. Mr. Wood is a member of the firm’s corporate department and also has extensive civil litigation experience. His civil litigation practice focuses primarily on commercial litigation, real property disputes, commercial evictions, and trust and estate litigation. He has successfully handled cases involving breach of contract, shareholder disputes, covenants not to compete, breach of employment agreements, defense of employment discrimination claims, defense of constitutional claims arising out of zoning and planning decisions, surface water discharge, property damage, and personal injury.
