Jutami Augustyn Bio

Jutami Augustyn is a partner in the Corporate Department. She focuses primarily on private equity transactions, which includes fund formation, mergers and acquisitions and management arrangements. She acts not only for South African funds and private equity houses, but have also advised on Mauritian and other offshore structures. Her clients range from funds, general partners, fund managers to new investors/partners and management members. She also specializes in the establishment of black private equity funds. Jutami’s experience further extends to advising a diverse range of leading corporates (both in the private and public sector) on the various elements of domestic and cross-border transactions, corporate and commercial matters, broad-based black economic empowerment, due diligence investigations and corporate governance issues.
