Shianee Calcutteea Bio

Shianee Calcutteea is a partner in our Mauritius office. She specialises in corporate law, banking law, mergers and acquisitions, employment, compliance and regulatory. Her experience has included advising on various corporate restructurings and share acquisitions, issue of bonds and term notes. She has prepared and negotiated share purchase agreements, advised on appropriate vehicles for investments, shareholders’ agreements, constitutive documents, drafted security documents and credit agreements for cross-border financing, advised on regulatory aspects in buyouts of local entities, and undertaken due diligence exercises onto various entities incorporated in Mauritius for M&A transactions. Shianee also advised the first crowdfunding platform in Mauritius.
