Chad Walker, a partner at Bose McKinney & Evans LLP, concentrates his practice in insurance regulations and market conduct examinations, business and real estate transactions, and state and federal commercial litigation. In his corporate and real estate work, he represents clients in business entity formation, asset purchase and sales, non-profit corporate matters, lease negotiations, real estate closings, low income housing tax credits and women-owned and minority-owned businesses (MBE/WBEs) certifications. Chad advises clients with identifying and securing financing and resources available through the U.S. Small Business Administration, including 7a and 504 loans, along with opportunities available through the recent CARES Act, such as Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL) and Paycheck Protection Program Loans. He serves on the board of directors of Premier Capital Corp., an SBA 504 Community Development Corporation. In addition, Chad has built a niche practice in department of insurance single and multi-state market conduct examinations. He has traveled the country, collaborating with state regulators in their review of insurers and their products, from policies to operations, and sales to claims. Chad leverages this experience for insurance companies to improve their practices through the use of preventative internal and third party vendor audits and mock examinations. Chad earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Evansville and the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. Currently, Chad is a volunteer with the United Way of Central Indiana and serves on the boards of directors for several not-for-profits. Chad also is a member of the Bose McKinney & Evans Diversity Committee.
