Maruca Overdijk is specialised in employment law in the broadest sense. She advises and, when necessary, litigates in cases concerning dismissal, position of the director, reorganisations and acquisitions, drafting employment contracts, regulations, social plan, terms of employment, WNT (Standards for Remuneration Act), employment conditions, occupational accidents, disability, and employee participation. Maruca works for national and international organisations, both in the profit and the non-profit sectors. Maruca is a member of the Healthcare Practice Group and the International Desk. She has also been registered as an MfN mediator since 2007 and teaches employment law. She is a member and former board member of various associations and foundations, including co-founder of VAAN (Dutch Employment Attorneys Association). Maruca Overdijk has been an attorney since 1987 and has worked at Boels Zanders since 1991. She became a partner in 2001.
